"We approached Sara about an opportunity to create a Veteran Appreciation art installation on behalf of our organization. In collaboration with a popular Skagit County restaurant, we gave her free rein to create the concept. When reviewing the preliminary design, the restaurant owner's reaction was emotional and contemplative, and then he suggested a larger wall space. The end result was unveiled on 9/11 to an audience who, like all who see it, were visibly moved."
